Republican; born April 16, 1940 and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Graduated from University High School; B.S. Louisiana State University 1963; L.L.B. (Juris Doctorate) Louisiana State University 1966. Practicing attorney, Baton Rouge, 1966-present; NFL Contract Advisor, 1983-present; Sports Lawyers Association, Member 1986-present; Baton Rouge Bar Association; Member of Board of Directors 1975-79; Louisiana State Bar Association; American Bar Association; Named to the Electrical Committee of NARUC (National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners) 1997-present. Active in civic, community, and religious organizations; married (Laura), four children. Assumed Commissionership December 2, 1996; current term ends December 31, 2012.
